Audacity allow you to create, edit and render audio files. You can import your own sound effects, voice recordings and music and edit as you wish. Once finished you can save your audio file as an MP3 so it is compaable with any program. A great tool to use if you wish to make a Podcast.  (Tutorial available)



Podomatic is a great place to upload your podcasts. After creating a podcast using Audacity, it is very easy to embed them into any wegpage. Using Podomatic also allows you to subscribe to the podcasts through iTunes. Free hosting and design.



Purple Planet houses a free collection of royalty-free music available for download, composed and performed by Geoff Harvey and Chris Martyn.  All music can be used free of charge in exchange for a link to their site.



Incompetech is a great site for music tracks organised into genre and 'feel'. The tracks vary in length, and there is a description of the music and a list of the instruments involved.



SoundBible is a site that hosts royalty free sound effects.


Every Stock Photo

Every Stock Photo is a search engine for public domain and Creative Commons licensed images. It accesses images from dozens of sources across the web and provides an embed code for the image and attribution. Check the individual license for each image before use.



Have a look at the Creative Commons page to find some great sites containing images available for reuse.



Voki. Create your very own talking avatar. Record your voice and very quickly have a speaking avater playing your recording.  (Tutorial available)



Blabberrize. Up load a photo and using the given tools select the mouth of the person, cartoon figure etc. Upload your own recording and have the mouth from the image moving as if it was saying the recording itself.



Flickr is a tool that allows you to upload, share and organise your photos.
